I remember when it came to the time I had to decide on wedding favors I had no idea what to give to our guest only because there's so many options these days. I changed my mind countless times. At the end I made something unique and special myself. Wedding favors should just be something small to say "thank you" for celebrating our big day with us. It should be special but don't spend too much time and money on it.
The Cost of Wedding Favors
Wedding Favors can cost as little as R10 per guest and can get be up to hundreds of rands. It all depends on your budget and your priorities. Do you choose to make your wedding favors yourself, or pay the extra to have someone else create and package them up for you. Keen in mind that when you decide to buy your wedding favors that it's almost always cheaper when bought in bulk.
Another option and something that is quite popular these days is to give one gift per couple
As mentioned before, do not spend too much time on your wedding favors, but whatever you choose make sure it looks pretty.
Something else you should think about it how you are going to present or hand your favors over. Make sure your gifts don't get left behind. As couples get busy during the evening they tend to forget their wedding favors at the end of the reception.
Some ideas to make sure your guests do take their favors:
*Place in on the table on the guests napkins or plates.
* Set up a table with that says "Please Take One" or "Thank You" for when guests exit the reception.
